How To: Request Wolfram Mathematica for Home Use

This article explains how to request Wolfram Mathematica, a mathematical symbolic computation program, for home use.

Requesting for Home Use

To request Mathematica for home use:

  1. Visit the  Mathematica License Request Form.
  2. Click Continue.
  3. Select Download: Send it to me at the email address I specify to receive Mathematica via download.
  4. Select platform desired.
  5. Enter your contact information, work address, home address, and proof of eligibility into the corresponding text boxes.
    1. For the email address text box, enter your @ithaca.edu email address.
    2. For proof of eligibility, select to be verified by an online staff directory. Enter https://staff.ithaca.edu/ followed by your username into the text box (e.g. http://staff.ithaca.edu/username).

Once your Ithaca College affiliation is verified by Wolfram, you will receive an activation key and link to download Mathematica. The process takes 24-48 hours.
