An email address you can access to confirm the account is required
Login to Tableau to use the public web client

Sign in with your email address and new password
When signed in, choose the last item in the Quick Links list

In the top left corner, in the Create menu, choose Web Authoring
Download the public desktop client
In the top left corner, in the Create menu, choose Download Tableau Public Desktop Edition
