Creating a Requisition with a Guided Journey: Oracle Recruiting Cloud In-Application Assistance

We now have an in-application tool to help guide you while creating job requisitions in the Oracle Recruiting Cloud. It provides step-by-step instructions for each section, whether you're recruiting employees or student employees. Please refer to the information below to learn more about how to use this tool, as well as helpful tips. Please note this feature is optional, and does not replace other training materials such as Team Dynamix articles. Those articles are available with instructions on how to create a requisition for each recruiting type.  

 

To create a requisition:

  • Log in to the IC HR Cloud from the apps.ithaca.edu page
  • Select the “My Team” Tab
  • Select the Hiring tile
  • Click “add+” in the top right corner

Using the Guide Me Tool

  • At the top of your screen you should see a “Guide Me” button.

  • By selecting this drop-down, a menu will display with labeled sections.  
  • Please read the disclaimer task. Depending on your system access, not all tasks in the Guide Me will correspond to the sections displayed on your screen. Review the tasks in the Guide Me that match the sections on your screen (requisition setup).
  • When you select a task, a pop up will appear. Guide me notes can be moved around the screen and resized as needed. Simply click and drag or extend the size of the box.

  • To close the box and open a new one, click the “x” in the top right corner of the box.
  • As you move through the requisition creation process, you can select new instruction tabs and repeat the same steps to help guide the process.
