How To: Setup Your New Mac

This article explains how to set up a Mac for first-time use as a faculty or staff member at Ithaca College. Following these steps ensures your Mac is properly configured, enrolled in the College's management system, and ready for your use.

Important: The first login to the Mac must be completed by you (the faculty or staff member), not by an IT technician or anyone else.

If someone assists with setup, be sure to log in with your own account once you see the JAMF Connect login screen (Step 7).
