What is the Student Portal?
The Ithaca College Student Portal is a new platform we're just beginning to introduce to help students access campus resources more easily. Built on the Pathify platform, this portal is designed to eventually serve as your centralized hub for essential student services and information. We're currently in the early stages of rolling out this portal, starting with basic access to key student and campus resources. As we continue to develop and expand the platform, more features and services will be added based on student needs and feedback.
Think of this as the beginning of a new way to connect with Ithaca College resources. We're starting simple and building from there to create the most useful experience possible for our students.

Getting Started
How to Access the Portal
Access the Student Portal using your Ithaca College login credentials, the same username and password you use for other college systems like email and course management. You can connect to myIC anytime at myIC.ithaca.edu, or through our new myICportal app, available now for both Apple and Android devices.
Having Trouble Logging In?
- Double-check that you're using your IC username and password
- Try clearing your browser cache and cookies
- Make sure your browser is up to date
- If you're still having issues, contact the service desk.
Since this is a new system, you may need to accept terms of use or complete a brief setup process during your first login. This only needs to be done once.
Navigating the Portal
When you first log in, you'll see your personalized dashboard with several widgets designed to give you quick access to important information and tools. Your dashboard includes:
- Events - Upcoming campus events and activities
- Campus Systems - Direct links to key college systems
- Forms - Access to important student forms
- Email - Quick access to your IC email
- Course Schedules - Your current class schedule information
- Advisers - Contact information and links to connect with your academic advisers
You can personalize your dashboard experience by moving widgets around, adding new ones, or removing widgets you don't need. Simply drag and drop widgets to rearrange them in a way that works best for you. Note that some widgets are required by the college and cannot be removed, but you can still move them to your preferred location on the dashboard.
The portal include several other sections:
- Tools - Additional resources and applications to support your academic and campus life
- Tasks - Important items that need your attention or action
- Announcements - Updates and notifications from the college
- Portal Activity - Recent activity and updates within the portal
Common Tasks
Daily, you may want to:
- Check your dashboard for new announcements and updates
- Review any items in your Tasks section that need attention
- Look at upcoming events that might interest you
- Access your course schedule for the day
Accessing Campus Systems
- Use the campus systems widgets to quickly jump to frequently used college platforms
- Access your IC email directly from the dashboard
- Find and complete necessary forms through the workflow widget
Staying Updated
- Regularly check the announcements section for important college updates
- Monitor your tasks section for deadline reminders and action items
- Review portal activity to see what's new or recently updated
