Overview of the New Work Management Interface
The new TeamDynamix Work Management interface introduces a refreshed design and reorganized navigation while keeping most core functionality the same.
- Tickets now open in a side-panel view instead of a new window. You can keep this view or open tickets as a platform tab or browser tab.
- Dashboards replace Desktops for better visualization and flexibility.
- Toolbar items have been reorganized for easier navigation.
Using the Applications Menu
The Applications Menu in the new TeamDynamix Work Management interface allows you to quickly access different applications within the platform.
Instructions
Access the Applications Menu
- In the Work Management Toolbar, click View Applications.
- (Optional) In the search bar, type the name of the application you want to find.
- Click the application tile to open it.
Tips for Efficient Navigation
- Use the search feature to quickly locate applications without scrolling.
- Frequently accessed applications can be pinned for easier access (if enabled by your administrator).
Managing Platform Tabs
The new TeamDynamix Work Management interface includes platform tabs that help you organize your work across multiple applications.
Understand Platform Tabs
- Tabs allow you to keep multiple pages open within TeamDynamix without using separate browser windows.
- Tabs from your last session automatically reopen when you log back in.
View and Manage Tabs
- In the Work Management Toolbar, click the Current Tabs Menu.
- Review the list of open tabs.
- To close all tabs at once, click Close All Tabs.
Automatically Reopened Tabs
- Any tabs left open during your previous session will reopen automatically when you return to Work Management.
- Use this feature to maintain continuity in your work.
Find and Organize Your Work
The new TeamDynamix Work Management interface makes it easier to locate and organize tickets and tasks.
1. Access My Work
- The My Work application retains its core functionality, but toolbar items have been reorganized.
- Use My Work to view tasks and tickets assigned to you.
2. Search for Tickets
- In the navigation menu, select Search.
- Use the Filter button in the Ticketing Application Toolbar to apply filters.
- The filter window now opens in a separate window instead of a side panel.
- Use the Jump To menu to quickly navigate between filter types.
3. Save a Search
- After applying filters, click + New Saved Search.
- Enter a name under Save As.
- (Optional) Enable Show in Navigator to display the search in the navigation menu.
- (Optional) Enable Global to share the search with others.
- Click Save.
4. Edit a Saved Search
- In the Ticket Search Toolbar, click My Saved Searches.
- Select the search you want to edit.
- Adjust filters as needed.
- Click + New Saved Search.
- Enable Overwrite and click Save.
5. Customize Searches in Navigation Menu
- In the navigation menu, go to Search.
- Click Edit Saved Searches in the Ticket Search Toolbar.
- Enable Show in Navigator for searches you want to display.
- Changes are saved automatically.
Use Ticket Application Search
The Ticket Application Search in the new TeamDynamix Work Management interface helps you quickly locate tickets using filters and navigation tools.
1. Start a Ticket Search
- In the navigation menu, select Search.
- Use the Filter button in the Ticketing Application Toolbar to apply filters.
- The filter window now opens in a new window instead of a side panel.
- Use the Jump To menu to quickly navigate between filter types.
2. Apply Filters
- Common filter options include:
- Status (Open, Closed, In Progress)
- Assigned To (Yourself or team members)
- Date Range
- Adjust filters as needed to narrow your results.
3. Use Jump To Menu
- Click Jump To in the filter window to move directly to specific filter categories without scrolling.
Introduction to Dashboards
The new TeamDynamix Work Management interface replaces Desktops with Dashboards, offering a more flexible and user-friendly way to visualize and manage data. Dashboards allow you to organize widgets, reports, and filters in a customizable layout.
What’s New with Dashboards
- Desktops are now Dashboards
Existing Desktops, including custom reports, automatically convert to Dashboards.
- Bootstrap 5 Support
If you previously used Bootstrap 3 in custom modules, update your code (e.g., data-toggle is now data-bs-toggle).
- Dynamic Widgets
Many widgets now allow filtering, sorting, grouping, and column customization directly within the dashboard.

- Flexible layout options with multiple rows and customizable row structures.
- Enhanced widget selector with more details and dynamic functionality.
- Improved visualization for reports and ticket data.
The new TeamDynamix Work Management interface allows you to set a default dashboard that appears every time you access the platform.
Instructions
- From the Work Management homepage, click Manage Dashboards.
- Locate the dashboard you want to set as default.
- In the Default column, click Set.
- The selected dashboard will now appear as your homepage view.
Managing Ticketing Application Dashboards
Ticketing Application Dashboards in TeamDynamix allow you to view and organize widgets specific to the ticketing application.
Access and Edit Ticketing Application Dashboard
- In the Work Management Toolbar, click View Applications.
- Select the Ticketing Application you want to manage.
- Click Edit Dashboard.
- If no dashboard exists, click Get Started to create one.
Customize Widgets
- Ticketing Application Dashboards only support widgets from that specific application.
- Use the dashboard editor to:
- Add or remove widgets.
- Adjust layout and rows.
- Configure widget settings for filtering and sorting.
