TeamDynamix Technician: Manage Project Requests

 

Overview

This guide will go over managing project requests in TeamDynamix. This process ensures that new initiatives are properly reviewed, approved, and tracked. This process helps Ithaca College prioritize resources and maintain transparency for campus projects.

Directions


Access Project Requests

  1. Log in to TeamDynamix using IC credentials.
  2. Navigate to TDNext >Applications > Portfolio Planning> Projects > Project Requests.

Submit a New Project Request

  1. Click New Project Request.
  2. Complete the required fields:
    • Project Name: Use a clear, descriptive title.
    • Description: Provide details about the project goals and scope.
    • Requested Start/End Dates: Enter realistic timelines.
    • Business Justification: Explain why the project is needed.
  3. Attach any supporting documents if applicable.
  4. Click Submit.

Review Existing Requests

  1. From the Project Requests page, use filters to view:
    • Status (Pending, Approved, Denied)
    • Owning Group
    • Submission Date
  2. Click a request title to view details.

Approve or Deny Requests

  1. Open the request you want to review.
  2. Click Approve or Deny.
  3. Add comments to explain your decision.
  4. Click Save.
