What's Changing and Why

  • A single unified form will replace many existing area-specific data request forms.
  • Centralized visibility of requests for datasets, reports, and dashboards will reduce duplication and help identify common data needs across campus.
  • Improved transparency, efficiency, and support for data governance.

What's Not Changing

  • Common College datasets remain available on the IR Website.
  • Area-specific reporting tools like Reporting Center, Power BI, and Tableau, are not changing.
  • Department-level processes for operational operational data use remain the same.

What Can Be Requested

  • Access to existing datasets, reports, or dashboards
  • Creation of new reports, datasets, or dashboards
  • One-time data requests
  • Modifications or error fixes of existing reports or dashboards
  • Other data-related needs
