Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of desktop, web, and mobile applications and services that give licensed users access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography, along with a set of mobile applications and some optional cloud services. This article outlines how to access and request a license.

Access for Students

Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Adobe Creative Cloud applications are accessible to students in on-campus computer labs, classrooms, and campus-owned devices only.
  • Students may purchase a personal subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud for use on personal devices through Adobe's Student Discount Program.

Adobe Express Access

  • All students, faculty and staff now have access to Adobe Express, a web-based design platform ideal for creating presentations, flyers, social media posts, and instructional materials. Learn more at: Article - Adobe Express

Access for Faculty, Staff, and IC Affiliates

License Requirements

  • All faculty and staff now have access to Adobe Express, a web-based design platform ideal for creating presentations, flyers, social media posts, and instructional materials.
  • If Adobe Express doesn't meet your creative needs and you require the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite, you can request a license.
  • Faculty and staff who have used Adobe Creative Cloud on college-owned devices since January 2025, or who completed the Adobe Needs Survey in May, have been automatically assigned a license.
  • These individuals received a confirmation email on September 30, 2025, and should experience no disruption in access.
  • If you did not receive a confirmation email and still require Adobe Creative Cloud, you may request a license.

Getting Started

Those with an Ithaca College Adobe Creative Cloud license can access their account by logging in via single sign-on (SSO) with your IC credentials. IT recommends downloading the Creative Cloud desktop application, then installing additional Adobe apps as needed from there.

Access via Web

  1. Visit https://creativecloud.adobe.com in a web browser
  2. Click Sign In in the top right corner
  3. Enter your IC email address
  4. If prompted, select Company or School Account
  5. Enter your Ithaca College username and password
  6. Click Apps in the left navigation
  7. If an application is not installed, click Install

Windows 11 and macOS

  1. Visit https://www.adobe.com/apps
  2. Search for Creative Cloud and click Download

iOS and Android

  1. Visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
  2. Download the desired Adobe applications

Computer Lab and Classroom Access

  • Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat remain available to students, faculty, and staff, in on-campus computer labs, classrooms, and campus-owned devices.
