Access Voice Mail

Before you can access your voice mail, you will need to personalize it.

Individual Voice Mail

  1. From your campus desk phone, lift the handset or press speaker.
    • On a single-line phone, dial 4-1850.
    • On a display phone, press the Message or VMAIL button.
  2. If you are away from your campus desk phone:
    • If you are on campus, dial 41850.
    • If you are off campus, dial (607) 274-1850.
    • Press # when the system answers.
    • Dial 9 plus your 5-digit phone number.

Tree (Shared) Voice Mail

For the main voice mailbox (tree):

  1. Dial 4-1850.
  2. Press # when the system answers.
  3. Dial 9 plus your 5-digit phone number.

For personal voice mail:

  1. If you are on campus, dial 4-1850.
  2. If you are off campus, dial (607) 274-1850.
  3. Press # when the system answers
  4. Dial 9 plus your 7-digit voice mail box number.
