  3. Enter the IP address visible on the Solstice display into the URL textbox. If you do not see the display, make sure to select the Pod or Wireless Presentation/Display on the Crestron control display.

If you have not installed the Solstice application previously on Apple iOS or Google Android:

  1. Ensure your device is connected to the IthacaCollege secure wireless network.
  2. Open the App Store or Google Play.
  3. Install the Solistice Client application.
  4. Open Solstice Client.

Connecting

Make sure that you are connected to Ithaca College wireless. Once the Solstice Client is opened, the Share panel will be shown with the Discovered Displays tab open. A list of displays will appear.

  1. In the Solstice application, Click the Discovered Displays tab if it is not active.
  2. Click the Display requested.
  3. Enter the passkey on the Solstice Display into the Key textbox.
  4. Apple users: After connecting, please use AirPlay on your device and select the name of the room in which you are using the solstice equipment. Make sure the room is also selected in your Sound Output options in System Preferences to output sound through the Solstice equipment.

Once Solstice user software is open, the user will see the Solstice user discovery panel with discovery and connection options. If discovery is enabled, a list of displays will appear and users can simply click to connect to a display. If the list of available displays is long, users have two options to find the right display for connection. They can search for a specific display by name (visible on the display) by clicking the search icon along the top of the app user interface, or they select the ‘Tags’ button just below the search field to filter the list of display by one or more discovery tags.
