Body

Microsoft Loop (microsoft.com) is a collaborative workspace designed to streamline team efforts and enhance productivity between different applications. It integrates with Microsoft 365, allowing users to create and share dynamic components across various applications. It is currently available to faculty, staff, and students.
Introduction
Loop consists of three core elements: Loop Components, Loop Pages, and Loop Workspaces.
- Loop Components are atomic units of productivity—such as lists, tables, notes, and tasks—that can be embedded in different apps and updated in real time. This means a list created in Loop can be inserted into a Teams chat and edited by anyone with access, reflecting changes instantly everywhere it appears.
- Loop Pages are flexible canvases where users can organize their thoughts, ideas, and content. These pages can be as simple as a single note or as complex as a project plan, adapting to the team's needs. They support various types of content, including text, links, files, and Loop Components, facilitating a holistic view of the project.
- Loop Workspaces provide a shared space where teams can collaborate on projects, track progress, and manage tasks. Workspaces bring together related Loop Pages and Components, offering a centralized location for project management. They allow teams to stay aligned, maintain context, and ensure everyone is on the same page.
Note: Future releases of Loop Components will include full integrations with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Whiteboard.
Data Export
If you are the only owner of a Microsoft Loop workspace, there is a risk of data loss should your account become inaccessible. To help preserve the workspace and its contents, it is recommended that you assign a second owner.
- To add another owner from the Microsoft Loop homepage, select the ellipsis (...) next to the workspace name.
- Select Members.
- Add additional users and assign them the role of Owner or Editor.
Alternatively, within the workspace itself, you can select the Invite and manage members icon located next to the workspace name to manage member roles.

Microsoft Loop does not support adding additional owners or members to personal workspaces. To preserve content or share it externally, individual pages must be exported.
- To export a page from a personal workspace, open the desired page and select the ellipsis (...) in the top-right corner.
- Choose Print & PDF export from the menu.
- Save the resulting PDF file to a secure location for future access or sharing.
