Overview
This guide goes over how to change article ownership in the Knowledge Base. This ensures that the correct person or team is responsible for maintaining and updating content. Ownership changes are useful when roles shift or articles need reassignment.

Access the Article
- Log in to TeamDynamix help.ithaca.edu using your IC credentials.
- Navigate to Knowledge Base.
- Select the Knowledge Base category containing the article.
- Locate the article, click its title.
Edit Ownership
- Click Edit in the article toolbar.
- Scroll to the Ownership section.
- In the Owner field:
- Select a new User from the dropdown list.
- Or assign ownership to a Group (e.g., IT Service Desk).
- Click Save to apply changes.
Confirm Ownership Change
- Return to the article summary page.
- Verify that the Owner field reflects the new user or group.
