Videos

Like images, videos can also be interspersed throughout the other content on your page to help communicate and add visual interest to a basic page. Adding a caption to a video, as shown below, is optional and should be kept relatively short. If more detail is needed it should be included in paragraphs that surround the video rather than within the caption. 

 

NOTE: You cannot add a video file directly to your website. It must be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, or Kaltura first. You will use the URL for that uploaded video to add it to your site.

Why Use Video

Like images, videos improve the experience and overall aesthetic of a webpage.

 

How to Add Video

  1. Click to edit the page
  2. Scroll down to where there is a gray bar that says Add CTA Intro HERO to Content                                                                                          
  3. Click the dropdown arrow and select Add Video
  4. Click the Add button*
  5. Add the video URL*
  6. (Optional) Add in the video transcript
  7. (Optional) Add in a message of what has been changed
  8. Press save
  9. (Optional) Caption the video
  10. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click save.

 

To Edit the Video

  1. Scroll down to the video section
  2. Press the edit button
  3. Press the gray Edit button
  4. Change elements 5-7 as needed
  5. Save video
  6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and press save.
