Info or Text Card Collections

Both of these cards are text based. A Text Card is text on white cards. An Info Card is text on either light blue, dark blue or gray cards. By linking to a separate page with additional content, these cards allow you to incorporate important information into your page without utilizing too much space 

 

How to Add Cards 

  1. Click to edit the page
  2. Scroll down to where there is a gray bar that says Add CTA Intro HERO  to Content
  3. Click the dropdown arrow and select Add Card Collection
  4. Select either Add Info Cards or Add Text Cards
  5. (Optional) Add a collection heading for the set of cards
  6. (For Info Cards) Select a card color
  7. Add a card title (<=30 char)
  8. Add a card description (<= 130 char)
  9. Enter the Link the card will lead to when clicked
    1. Start typing the title of the content you want to attach
    2. OR, for internal paths, type in / followed by the internal URL (aka everything following ithaca.edu)
    3. OR, Enter <front> to link to the home page
    4. OR, Enter a external URL, such as https://myspace.com
  10. (For Info Cards) Enter the link text, which will be in the button at the bottom of the card.
  11. Repeat Process 1 to 2 more times
    1. Info Card Collections only require 1 card and can have up to 3 cards
    2. Text Card Collections require 2 cards and can have up to 3
  12. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click save.

 

How to Delete an Individual Card

  1. On the upper right side of each individual text/info card, click the blue remove button
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click save.

 

How to Delete a Card Collection

  1. At the top of the card collection section, click the blue remove button, located under the collapse button.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click save.
