Access to Canvas has been restored. However, access to some tools through Canvas is limited. Zoom, Kaltura Media Gallery, and Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and OneNote are not currently accessible through Canvas. These resources are available by going to them directly, and instructions for each are included below.
Other tools not mentioned above are expected to function normally, including access to textbook resources, library materials, and classroom polling.
How to access tools
Each of the software applications listed below can be accessed from the tiles or the alphabetical list on https://apps.ithaca.edu or https://www.ithaca.edu/apps
Zoom – Visit https://ithaca.zoom.us/ and login with your Ithaca College credentials. Your scheduled meetings are listed and can be found on the Meetings tab from the navigation menu. You can start a meeting and invite guests through normal processes.
Kaltura Media Gallery - Visit https://media.ithaca.edu/ and login with your Ithaca College credentials. Click on the person icon in the upper right-hand corner and select “My Media.” All of your media files will appear. To share media, scroll down to find the video you want students to view and click on the selected media. Click on the “Share” button to copy the url.
Microsoft O365 (Teams, OneDrive, and OneNote) - Select the appropriate app from the icon at the top of https://www.ithaca.edu/apps and log in with your Ithaca College credentials. Search for and access your files through the normal processes.
Information Technology & Analytics will post an email announcement and update the banner in Canvas to let users know when these tools are available.
A note on rosters
Faculty should note that course rosters, which are normally updated every six hours, will not receive additional updates at this time. This includes the existing Spring 2026 roster, as well as those for Summer and Fall 2026.
