Access for Students

Computer Lab and Classroom Access

  • Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Adobe Acrobat are accessible to students in on-campus computer labs, classrooms, and campus-owned devices.

Course Designated License

  • Each term, a limited number of Adobe Creative Cloud student licenses are allocated to support specific designated courses identified by the Provost's Office.
  • Eligible students receive a license 7 days before classes begin, and access ends 14 days after final exams. License assignments are determined by enrollment at the time of review for designated courses.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud products can be accessed via the web or downloaded to a personal device.

Adobe Express Access

  • All students, faculty and staff now have access to Adobe Express, a web-based design platform ideal for creating presentations, flyers, social media posts, and instructional materials. Learn more at: Article - Adobe Express

Personal Subscription

Getting Started

Those with an Ithaca College Adobe Creative Cloud license can access their account by logging in via single sign-on (SSO) with your IC credentials. IT recommends downloading the Creative Cloud desktop application, then installing additional Adobe apps as needed from there.

Access via Web

  1. Visit https://creativecloud.adobe.com in a web browser
  2. Click Sign In in the top right corner
  3. Enter your IC email address
  4. If prompted, select Company or School Account
  5. Enter your Ithaca College username and password
  6. Click Apps in the left navigation
  7. If an application is not installed, click Install

Windows 11 and macOS

  1. Visit https://www.adobe.com/apps
  2. Search for Creative Cloud and click Download

iOS and Android

  1. Visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
  2. Download the desired Adobe applications

Transfer Content Before Graduation

Upon graduation, you will lose access to any data stored in Adobe Creative Cloud approximately 30 days after commencement. Before graduation, it is crucial to transfer your Creative Cloud assets from your IC account to a new Creative Cloud free or paid account.

Transferring Your Data

  • If you already have a personal Adobe account, download your data from your Ithaca College Adobe account and upload it to your personal account.
  • If you don't have a personal Adobe account, visit graduation.adobe.com to set up a new Adobe personal account (Creative Cloud free membership) with a new email address and transfer your data. This free membership includes 2 GB of storage.

Purchasing Adobe Creative Cloud Post-Graduation

As a new graduate, you can access a special Creative Cloud offer, which includes every Adobe Creative App for $19.99/month for the first year after graduation. This offer is available after migrating your data from your Ithaca College Adobe account.
