Summary

The majority of classrooms on campus are technology-equipped classrooms. This article covers a basic overview of common equipment in the rooms.

IT highly recommend that faculty familiarize themselves with the classroom technology in advance of the semester. To schedule an Classroom training session, please use our online Bookings form to schedule an appointment with the Teaching and Learning with Technology group.

The majority of classrooms on campus contain technology, which can consist of the following equipment:

  • Windows and/or Mac computers
  • LCD projector
  • Audio/Visual control system (i.e. Pixie Pro, Crestron, Extron)
  • Blu-ray players
  • Laptop connectivity to projector
  • Document cameras
  • Cameras & microphones

Some rooms may also contain:

  • Multiple LCD projectors
  • Dual computer monitors
  • Interactive display board

Pending updates, 25Live will also index the capabilities of rooms, and allow scheduling for space reservations.

The IC Software Bundle contains a baseline of software for Windows and Mac computers.
