Microsoft 365 is a suite of productivity and collaboration applications that includes always up-to-date versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and Teams. With a single license, you can install Microsoft 365 applications on up to five devices.
Known Issues
On Windows Devices:
After the installation of Microsoft 365, there will be a prompt asking if you want to "Stay signed in to all your apps". In this prompt is a check box for "Allow my organization to manage my device" If this box is left checked it will enroll the personal device into the IC Intune computer management system, causing the personal computer to be treated as an IC-owned device. This will install other applications and computer settings set by the IT department for Faculty and Staff computers. If "Allow my organization to manage my device" was checked, contact the Service Desk to have the settings reverted and have your personal device removed from Intune.
