
Microsoft Copilot Studio is a low-code platform that enables Ithaca College faculty and staff to build custom AI agents that interact with organizational data and automate tasks across Microsoft 365 and other connected services. This article outlines how to access Copilot Studio and request a license.

Access via Web through Microsoft Copilot Chat or Microsoft Copilot Studio
Request a License
License Requirements
While anyone can build basic agents using Copilot Chat, full access to Copilot Studio’s advanced features requires either a Copilot Studio user license. or a Microsoft 365 Copilot license.
Request a License
- Individuals may submit a license request via the IC Service Portal.
Getting Started
Access via Web (Copilot Chat)
- Open a web browser.
- Go to https://m365.cloud.microsoft/chat
- Sign in with your Ithaca College credentials if prompted.
- Select Create agent form the left navigation.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to create and share your agent.
Access via Web (Copilot Studio)
- Open a web browser.
- Go to https://copilotstudio.microsoft.com/
- Sign in with your Ithaca College credentials if prompted.
- Start from a template or describe your agent to create it.
- Follow the prompts to configure and share your agent.
