This service is intended for Ithaca College Alumni.
What is this Service?
This service allows Ithaca College alumni to submit a ticket to the IT Service Desk for the Annual email account opt-in that is required to maintain Ithaca College email accounts after you graduate, and regain access without needing to call or chat in.
*** As of July, 2025 all Ithaca College alumni will be required to annually opt-in to maintain access to their @ithaca.edu email. You may also locate the email that was sent to your personal email address. If you look within your email, you can also bypass using this service by clicking the link that is in your alternative email (on file) that looks like the content below:

Dear [Alumni],
Your Ithaca College email is changing to an opt-in format. Starting one year after you last attended IC, you’ll receive an email reminder each year from noreply@ithaca.edu asking if you want to continue using your ithaca.edu email account.
To continue using your ithaca.edu email address, please go to the web page below and select “Opt In.” If you no longer use your account, there’s nothing you need to do. Your account will be automatically disabled on July 1 and removed from the system in February of the following year.

Beware of phishing messages It’s common for scammers to try to scare people into providing information by having them log on to a fake site or enter a code in their Duo app. It’s also increasingly common for scammers to send texts rather than emails.
Legitimate IC reminder messages and our alumni email opt-in page will not ask for any information and won’t require you to log in. You can verify the authenticity of the reminder messages by verifying the sender address. More information is available at https://ithaca.edu/alumni-email.
