Who is the Audience for this Service?

This service is intended for all users of Ithaca College systems that receive or manage devices from Information Technology (Faculty, Staff)

What is this Service?

This service offering is to request a new device be given out by Information Technology or to return a device to Information Technology

Request a New Device: This application allows you to request a new device for an employee of Ithaca College or for a department. There are several categories for this.

  • Primary Use Device: This is an employee's main computer, the one they will use for work every day.
     
  • Lab Computer: This is a computer intended for use in a computer lab, usually with specific software installed on it.
     
  • Special Use: This is a computer intended for a very specific purpose, where a department will work with IT to deploy this computer.
     
  • Other Shared Use: This is a computer intended to be shared between multiple users.
     
  • iPad: This is a tablet that has been purchased by a department or IT and needs to be enrolled in IC's systems.

 

Return a Device: This application is to return any unneeded machines to Information Technology. These can be a retiring or departing employee's primary machine, unneeded technology, or anything else to return to IT.
