What is this Service?
This service is for a Faculty or Staff member that wants to request a legal, preferred or Username change. This link will direct you to the service within the HR portal, where they lead you to the form to fill out for a legal name change.
If you just want to make a preferred name change, you would do that through Finance and HR Cloud on apps.ithaca.edu, here's what is mentioned within the service in the HR portal for reference:
"Verifying documents supporting a legal name change is required. Please upload supporting documentation in the submission form.
If you are solely needing to update your chosen name, you can do so through HR Cloud. Please review this Knowledge Base article for instruction on how to update your chosen name: Article - Employee Personal Information (ithaca.edu)"
