The Library Quick Print Stations are self-service computers next to the two Toshiba printers in the library. Sign in with your Ithaca College account, print, and sign out - the printers are already set up, so there is nothing to install.

Audience

This article is intended for students, faculty, and staff who print using the self-service Library Quick Print Stations.

Platform

Library Quick Print Station (Microsoft Windows); Toshiba multifunction printers (MFPs); PaperCut

Contents

  1. Sign in to the station with your Ithaca College account
  2. The two Print Release queues, ToshibaBW (black and white) and ToshibaColor (color), are added automatically - there is nothing to set up
  3. The web browser opens automatically to webprint.ithaca.edu, so you can print from the web right away if you prefer

Print

You can print two ways from a Library Quick Print Station:

From an application

  1. Open the file you want to print
  2. Press Ctrl+P
  3. Select ToshibaBW or ToshibaColor
  4. Click Print

From WebPrint

  1. In the browser that opened to webprint.ithaca.edu, upload your file and submit it to print

After you send a job, release it at either library Toshiba printer (or any campus Toshiba printer) by tapping your IC ID card and selecting your job. For more detail, see Print Services and the Library Printing FAQ.

Sign Out When You Are Done

These stations sign you out automatically so the next person cannot see your account or files.

  • After your document prints, a prompt asks if you are finished. Choose Log Off Now to sign out right away, or Keep Working to stay signed in
  • If the station sits idle for about 5 minutes, it warns you and then signs you out on its own. Printing again or choosing Keep Working restarts that timer
  • Always sign out before you leave - signing out also clears anything you downloaded during your session
