This article answers common questions about printing at the library, including how to print single-sided, print and scan on non-letter paper, and request a refund.

This article is intended for students, faculty, and staff who print at the library using the Toshiba printers and Library Quick Print Stations.

1. How to Print Single-Sided

IC Managed Computers (Recommended)

  1. Open the file you want to print
  2. Press Ctrl+P (Windows) or Cmd+P (Mac)
  3. Select ToshibaBW or ToshibaColor
  4. Turn off Double-Sided (also called Two-Sided)
  5. Click Print
  6. Enter your Ithaca College credentials if prompted
  7. Sign in at any Toshiba printer
  8. Release your print job

Personal Device

  1. Connect to the IthacaCollege secure network using your Ithaca College username and password
  2. Add the Toshiba printers to your device by following How To: Use PaperCut's Mobility Print
  3. Open the file you want to print
  4. Press Ctrl+P (Windows) or Cmd+P (Mac)
  5. Select ToshibaBW or ToshibaColor
  6. Turn off Double-Sided (also called Two-Sided)
  7. Click Print
  8. Enter your Ithaca College credentials if prompted (make sure the name matches your Ithaca College username)
  9. Sign in at any Toshiba printer
  10. Release your print job

WebPrint

On an Ithaca College computer, follow the IC Managed Computers steps above and turn off Double-Sided in the print options.

2. Printing with Non-Letter Paper

  1. Open the file you want to print
  2. Press Ctrl+P (Windows) or Cmd+P (Mac)
  3. Select ToshibaBW or ToshibaColor
  4. Click More settings
  5. Change the paper size to your desired size
  6. Click Print
  7. Go to any Toshiba printer and open the bypass tray (on the right side of the machine)
  8. Load your paper and align the guides flush with the paper
  9. Sign in and release your print job
  10. If prompted, select the bypass tray as the paper source

3. Scanning with Non-Letter Paper

  1. Open the top of the printer to access the scanner
  2. Place your paper in the top-left corner
  3. Sign in at the Toshiba printer
  4. Select Scan
  5. Select Scan to Email or Scan to OneDrive
  6. Click Change settings on the right-hand side
  7. Change the paper size to Legal (8.5" x 14") or Ledger (11" x 17")
  8. Change any other desired settings
  9. Select Start

4. Requesting a Refund

  1. Go to webprint.ithaca.edu
  2. In the left menu, select Recent Print Jobs
  3. Locate the print job you need refunded
  4. Select Request Refund
