PaperCut WebPrint allows you to upload and print documents from anywhere with internet access. Simply upload files through the web portal, then release your print jobs at any campus multifunction printer (MFP) using your IC credentials.

Accessing PaperCut WebPrint
PaperCut WebPrint is accessible from any device with internet access, making it perfect for remote work, mobile devices, or personal computers.
- Navigate to https://webprint.ithaca.edu/ in your web browser.
- Enter your IC username (without @ithaca.edu) in the login field.
- Click Login to access the WebPrint portal.
You will be automatically authenticated using Ithaca College's Single Sign-On (SSO) system.
Supported File Formats
WebPrint supports a wide range of common file formats. Only the following file types are accepted:
Microsoft Office Files
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Word
Other Document Types
- PDF
- Picture Files: bmp, dib, gif, jfif, jif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, png, tif, tiff
Unsupported file types will be rejected during upload. Convert your files to one of the supported formats before uploading.
Uploading Documents
Once logged into WebPrint, you can upload documents for printing using the following steps:
- Select Upload Jobs from the main dashboard.

- Click Submit a Job.

- Select the printer queue to use (Black and White vs Color), then Select Print Options and Account Selection

- Choose the number of copies needed (1-25 copies maximum). Click Upload Documents to advance to the file upload page.

- Click Upload from Computer or drag and drop the document to print to the window.
Click Upload & Complete at the bottom of the page, and it will be added to the print release queue for the Toshiba MFPs.

WebPrint supports Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, PDF, and Picture Files.
Documents will print using default settings and standard page size. For custom print settings, consider adjusting your document formatting before uploading.
Releasing Print Jobs on Campus
After uploading your documents, you need to physically release them at a campus printer using your IC credentials.
Quick Release with IC ID Card
If you have registered your IC ID card with PaperCut, you can quickly access your print jobs:
- Locate any multifunction printer (MFP) on campus.
- Tap your IC ID card on the RFID reader icon to log in automatically.
- Select the print jobs you want to release.
- Click Print to start printing your documents.

Your print jobs will remain in the queue for 72 hours before being automatically deleted.

Common Issues and Solutions
File Upload Problems
Issue: "File type not supported" error
Solution: Verify your file is in one of the supported formats listed above. Convert unsupported files to PDF or a Microsoft Office format.
Issue: Upload fails or times out
Solution: Check your internet connection and try uploading smaller files or fewer files at once.
Login Issues
Issue: Cannot log in to WebPrint
Solution: Ensure you're using only your IC username (without @ithaca.edu). If problems persist, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser.
Print Release Problems
Issue: Print jobs not appearing at the MFP
Solution: Verify you're using the correct IC credentials. Print jobs may take a few minutes to appear in the system after upload.
Issue: Cannot find print jobs
Solution: Check that your jobs haven't expired (72-hour limit) and that you're logged in with the same account used to upload.
