About this Service

This Service is for moving/ removing equipment, with the offerings listed below:

  • Request Office or E-Waste Move: This offering will be to either move your office or remove e-waste equipment
    • Office Move: This offering is to move your office from one location to another. You would need to provide the location of the office you are moving out of and the office location that you are moving into. IT personnel will safely move all stated equipment from the given location to the provided location and set the office up so that it is ready to go after the move.
    • E-Waste Move: This offering is to remove any unnecessary/not used equipment from a location. You would need to provide a location and the name/ description of the equipment that is being removed. 
      Alternatively if the equipment can be brought down to Job 104 (Service Desk) it can be take care of immediately
  • Request Printer Move: This Offering is to move a Toshiba supported printer from a current location to the stated location and ensure that it stays connected to the Ithaca college network so that it can still be printed from. You can differentiate a Toshiba supported printer based off the Toshiba sticker on the printer with the model and serial number of the printer. 
  • Request Telephone Move: This Offering is to move an existing telephone form one office to another while keeping the same phone number and ensuring it is connected properly or to set up a new phone number and phone.
