We can assist you with the identification of an appropriate tool to conduct remote meetings, presentations and receive remote presentations, such as guest lecturers. Please note that video conferencing services are available for official Ithaca College business. We do not provide video conferencing services to the public.

Zoom
Zoom is our enterprise video and web conferencing tool for Ithaca College and is available to all students, faculty, and staff. Zoom allows for video, audio, and screen sharing. It can be used from any computer, laptop, tablet, or phone, and it works on PC, Mac, Android and iOS devices. All eClassroom computers have Zoom installed as part of the standard classroom software. Any IC user can initiate a video or audio meeting, allowing Zoom to be used for online meetings, webinars, and more with people outside of the college. 

Skype (free version for personal use)
Skype provides free audio and video conferencing between multiple parties.  Skype also has group calling in its free version. All eClassroom computers have Skype installed as part of the standard classroom software. To access Skype for your personal computer, visit skype.com and download the Skype client for your platform. You will need to set up a free account to access Skype. Note that in order to call someone, they will also need an account, and you will also need their Skype username.
