This powerful design tool can be used to create presentations, social media graphics, posters, and more. Additionally, access to IC-branded resources is available to those with a Canva Enterprise account.

All Ithaca College Students have access to Canva Pro as part of our Canva Enterprise license agreement.
With Canva Pro, students gain access to premium content, advanced design tools, and AI-powered features that support skill development in design, data visualization, and visual communication. Learn more at: Canva Pro | Your all-in-one design solution
You can access your Ithaca College Canva Pro account by logging in via single sign-on (SSO) with your IC credentials.
Access via Web
- Visit http://ithaca.edu/canva in a web browser
- Click Log In under Log In to Canva
- Sign in with your IC email address and password
- Once logged in, your account will automatically upgrade to Canva Pro
- If relevant, link your existing account
Note: You may also bookmark http://ithaca.edu/canva-sso
If you are already using your Ithaca College email address with a free Canva account or Canva Pro account, you will have a choice to link your existing account so you will not lose any projects.

- If you would like to request a refund for a personal Canva Pro subscription that was purchased with your IC email, now that you have access to Canva Pro through Ithaca College, please submit a Canva customer service request to obtain a prorated refund for the remainder of your subscription.
Your Ithaca College Canva Pro account includes all the features of Canva Free, plus:
- Premium Templates: Choose from thousands of professionally designed templates for presentations, social media posts, flyers, posters, and more.
- Premium Images and Assets: Access an extensive library of high-quality photos, illustrations, and design elements to enhance your projects.
- Advanced Editing Tools: Enjoy features like resizing, background remover, and animation to make your designs truly stand out.
- AI Features: Magic Write, Magic Design, and Magic Edit allow users to generate content, design layouts, and edit visuals using natural language prompts.
- Unlimited Folders: Organize and store your designs with ease for quick access whenever you need them.
- Collaborative Features: Work on projects with classmates or fellow club members seamlessly using Canva’s collaboration tools.
- Cloud-Based Access: Create and edit designs on any device, anywhere, at any time with 1 TB of cloud storage.
As you approach graduation or prepare to leave Ithaca College, it is important to copy your designs and files to a personal Canva account before you lose access. Canva Enterprise requires a paid license.
- Marketing Communications manages a limited number of licenses that are distributed to staff and faculty with on-brand resource needs and support. Learn more at: Using Canva | Ithaca College
- Departments may also purchase individual Enterprise licenses for $195/year charged to the department of the requester, if their needs exceed the licenses currently allocated to their area.
Request a License
Individuals may contact their department or division leadership to inquire about allocated licenses for their area, who can then reach out to Allison Usavage or Jennifer King-Mackenzie in Marketing Communications to transfer any licenses.
To request an additional Enterprise license at $195/year funded by the department, division, or school, with access to on-brand resources and support, individuals may:
- Submit a license request through the IC Service Portal.
- The requester’s supervisor will receive an email notification to approve the purchase.
- The license will be assigned and charged to the department.
- Each year, users will be contacted to confirm renewal for the next year.
Our Canva environment uses single sign-on (SSO). After receiving your license invitation email, click ‘accept invitation’ and proceed to ‘sign up with your work email’ and ‘log in with SSO’. Learn more at: Using Canva | Ithaca College
Those with an assigned license can also Log In using your IC email address and password via apps.ithaca.edu or:

- Click Log In and Sign in with your Ithaca College credentials if prompted.

- Integrated Brand Resources: Quickly find and use official logos, brand colors, fonts, photography assets, and approved graphic elements directly within Canva, ensuring every project aligns with Ithaca College standards.
- Collaborate with MarCom: Enjoy effortless in-app collaboration with the Marketing Communications team for design review and proofreading for high-impact materials to maintain quality and consistency.
- Seamless Team Collaboration: Empower real-time collaboration, edit and comment on designs, and maintain project momentum from anywhere.
- AI Features: Use natural language prompts with Magic Write to auto generate text for use in designs, Magic Edit to easily remove or add objects to photos, and Magic Insights to generate charts and formulas.
- Cloud-Based Access: Create and edit designs on any device, anywhere, at any time with 1 TB of available storage.
