This service is to request assistance with any software problem, including the following options:
- General Software Support. Use this service offering for the following options:

Software How-To and Troubleshooting. Use this option to request help with IT-supported software, including but not limited to: learning applications like Canvas, productivity applications like Microsoft 365, or other software.

Request an Application or License1. Use this option to request an application or license for an application1 like Formstack, Mentimeter, or ChatGPT.
This should generally only be used by faculty and staff.

Integrate a Third-Party2 Application. Use this option to request integration3 of a non-IC supported app into an IC application.
This should generally only be used by faculty and staff.
- Learning Application Support. Use this link if you are a faculty member looking to get assistance with learning applications, such as Canvas, Respondus Lockdown Browser, and more.
Glossary
- License for an application
- A license allows a specific user, or specific device, to use a specific application. Licenses are often for paid applications that cannot be accessed for free.
- Third-party
- In this situation, an application that is outside the Ithaca College group of supported apps. IC is the first party and an app in the supported group is the second party. If we were to try to integrate Grammarly into Microsoft Word, Grammarly would be the third party.
- Integration
- Adding the functionality of one software or application to another.
